Preparations have begun for this year's Italian American Club’s St Rocco’s Festival which is being held from July 9th through July 12th. There will be many opportunities for members to get involved and help plan this special annual event. Our raffle ticket sales and sponsorships are our insurance policies in the event of a rainout; it is extremely important to sell all your raffle tickets and more if you can to help secure community sponsorships. A letter to all members explaining this year's raffle ticket requirements will go out soon.
Oyster Bay Day will be held on Saturday May 2nd. Volunteers are needed to man the club’s booth. This is also a great opportunity to sell your St Rocco’s Festival Super Raffle Tickets. Please look for more information to come in the next few weeks.
This year’s Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday May 25th. A BBQ Lunch held on the club’s back patio immediately following the parade. We have Papa Joe and his accordion joining us this year on the parade route. Let’s plan ahead and strive for more membership participation in this year’s parade. Stay tuned for more information.

The Italian American Citizens Club of Oyster Bay was founded in 1906 when a group of Italian Americans in the Oyster Bay area met with former president Theodore Roosevelt at Sagamore Hill to ask for his permission to start the club. After permission was granted, the club was founded and given its first official name of The Italian American Democratic Club of Oyster Bay. That name would remain until 1941 when the official club name was changed to the Italian American Citizens Club of Oyster Bay.
Our club was originally located on Audrey Avenue eventually moving to West Main street until 1948 when the club moved to our current location at 48 Summit street.
Our charter is to promote Italian traditions and culture in America and create a family friendly environment that is host to a variety of traditional social and educational events.

In honor of our deceased members.
For those members who have passed on and left us this incredible legacy, we will be forever grateful. We pray that the future generations of Italian Americans will continue the traditions of our beloved club.
